Before we met Gavin, around 2008, We had used a business coach already but were left a bit underwhelmed with what we felt was a very basic process with no hands-on guidance and explanation of why the changes and adaptations being proposed were necessary for us and the business
Gavin’s methods cut through the existing status quo and "habits” and you are kept accountable to what you are working on and so for us success has been the outcome.
I clearly remember the immediate sense of "this is going change everything” and how this made me excited and Gavin’s response to me then has stuck with me ever since, "What we’re doing here will accelerate everything that is happening in your business” which I immediately thought was very positive. But Gavin elaborated with: "that's everything good but also everything bad and that's a good thing; you can’t see the bad stuff yet but you need to know what it is so you can deal with now.
I have returned to Gavin on a number of occasions for advise on unique situations but more recently we have again returned to Gavins hands on approach as part of a transition in our business from the old guard to the new management team and again the impact has been all that we had hoped for.

When I first connected with Gav for coaching, my idea of success was simply having enough jobs to cover the bills and keep busy. That was my measure of achievement back then.

Starting a business from scratch was one of the scariest things I’ve ever done. I had some industry experience, a few contacts, and three months’ worth of cash — enough to scrape by.
